The Lending Hand Inc, will be assisting 60 elementary students within Bibb, Houston & Peach County schools with supplies and school clothes/ uniforms for the 2023-2024 academic school year. The 60 students have been identified by the individual school counselors as being in need, homeless or experiencing extreme financial hardship. On Friday July 28, 2023 we will deliver backpacks filled with the school supplies and clothes/ uniforms for each of the Identified children to their schools. The counselors will distribute the backpacks to the students during the school’s student teacher meet and greet event. Each bag will be filled with the specific grade level supplies and size clothes needed for each identified child. Donations/ Sponsorships are due by July 17, 2023 to allow time to purchase all items for students.
